Conley's 15 Month Well Visit Stats

Okay...eventually I'll get back to blogging...I promise! As soon as I find a spare minute to breathe! :) Two kids is like 5 times the work if you ask me!! Although I'm sure my new job (that I got 2 weeks before having Conley) has a little bit to do with it too!

I did want to at least capture Conley's 15 month old stats real quick.

Length - 31 3/4 75-90%
Weight - 30.8   <97 font="font">
Head Size - 19 75-90%

So he's shorter and a little chunkier than Riley was at this age, and his head is .5" smaller which is surprising b/c he's got a noggin' on him! We call him bowling ball head because he will take you OUT with it!!

Conley's First Tooth!

I can't get a picture of it, but Conley cut his first tooth on Friday the 13th! Eww! In April at 6.5 months old! It's the bottom right one. Let the drooling stage begin! His tongue is constantly sticking out right now b/c he's rubbing it back and forth over where his 1 bottom tooth is! Gotta get the bibs ready!

Easter Fun!

So this Easter marks the 1 year mark that the Easter Bunny brought Riley light sabers...oh little did we know where that small act would lead us! This year the Easter Bunny brought more Star Wars goodies!

First we did an egg hunt at Nancy's with Ethan & Emily!

 At this point, Riley had filled his basket full and was ready to quit. When I urged him to continue, he shrugged his shoulders and said I have PLENTY already Mommy! Kelly laughed how he doesn't take after him b/c Kelly would have been racing to get them all!
 

 The only way we convinced Riley to hunt for more was to get them for PawPaw!

The basket is full, so we're on to filling the bag up!

Pooped out within 5 minutes of leaving Aunt Char's.

FINALLY! Asleep when we were 11 minutes from home!

I joke they are like a wrestling tag team. One goes to sleep, then tags the other one in! This ride home was just one example of that! ha!

Conley Loves Adele!

This is awesome! A couple of months ago I had to take Kelly to the airport when he was going back to Maryland for his uncle's funeral, and Conley started wailing on the way back from dropping him off. In a desperate attempt, I turned on my Adele cd - it just happened to start at song 1 which is her hit single and Grammy winning I think now - Rolling in the Deep. And I'm not lying..within 20 seconds Conley stopped crying. After he stopped for a minute, I turned it down..and he started again so I turned it back up and he stopped. Things that make you go hmm.

So the next chance I had to test this out was picking Kelly up from the airport a few days later - bam! Worked AGAIN! 

I told Kelly about it and demonstrated it for him recently...and he couldn't believe it! Let's just say the rest is history. We've used it no less than 10+ more times...and it's worked EVERY time! As recent as last night, and it worked within 5 seconds at the most. In the beginning, it wouldn't work until the drum part started but now it tends to work even sooner! Thank you Adele! :) Otherwise, Mommy, Daddy and Riley would be Rolling in the Deep trapped in a car with a screaming baby!

Riley's Regressions

So I would say Riley's regressed a bit since Conley has arrived. Here are just a few of them I have caught him in the act doing!

Had to take a bath in the baby tub inside the tub!

Had to get in the pack n play while I was changing Conley!

I can't believe how tiny Conley was in this pic! That seems like a lifetime ago! If I even remember him being that tiny at all! Bless him!
